Sandhi’s mission is to develop sustainable livelihood opportunities for unorganized producers of hand-crafted products by providing the missing pieces that help make the connection with markets. This includes hand-holding on everyday marketing and supply-chain related issues as well as longer-term assistance to build competitive advantage.

Sandhi is a social enterprise that combines the agility and dynamism of private enterprise with a commitment to deliver long-term social value and change in the way the unorganized sector is perceived by markets.

We operate through Sandhi Craft Foundation which is our not-for-profit Section 25 Company that works with producer groups in setting up long-term capacities required to grow their enterprise. We measure success by wage impact for each individual producer that we work with. Sandhi Hand Craft Pvt. Ltd. builds the appropriate business models and the merchandising solutions to connect producers to markets and assist them in delivering consistently to market requirements.
